Can I really ring you at 9.00pm to just ask a question?
Sure can. We are available to discuss any questions you may have about our packages or the modeling industry in general till 10.00pm each evening (including weekends).
Do I have to be a model already to shoot your packages?
No. We work with models both new to the industry and established.
Why are your package prices so affordable compared to other photo studios?
We are full time industry photographers. We don't shoot weddings or buildings or family portraits. We specialise in shooting models, actors and entertainers. Our business is based on the volume of clients we shoot. What that means to you is that we only shoot what models need to get work without any unnecessary extras. We sell complete packages including images. We are not interested in trying to sell you a photo album or a canvas print etc (but we do provide you with high resolution image files so you can easily print your own with no outragous markup).
Do you do photoshoots on weekdays or weekends?
Both. Subject to booking availability, we operate 7 days a week.
I am only free in the evenings. Can I still book?
Yes. We understand that not everyone is free during the day. Subject to booking availability, we can schedule your shoot in the evening if that is more convenient for you.
How far ahead do I have to make a booking?
To avoid disappointment you should contact us as soon as you know you need to make a booking regardless if you need it today, tomorrow or in the coming weeks.
Please note that photo sessions are by appointment only.
What if I need to make an urgent booking for today/tonight?
As we operate 7 days a week, give us a call and we will do our best to schedule you.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, cheque, direct deposit, online bank transfers or PayPal. We accept Mastercard or Visa Card payments via PayPal.
Where is your studio located?
Our main studio is located close to the city & airport at Rockdale, Sydney.
Public Transport
Rockdale is a 15 minute train journey from Central Station on the Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra line. We are a 5 minute walk from Rockdale Railway station. Regular train services operate on average at 20 minute intervals.
Rockdale is easily accessed from Sydney Airport by changing at Wolli Creek from the Airport Line (it is only a short journey by taxi from Sydney Airport to Rockdale should you prefer).
Driving
Rockdale is easily accessed from the M5 East from either eastern or western directions with exits at Arncliffe and Bexley North.
As an alternative Rockdale is located along the Princess Highway, a 15 minutes drive from the city.
What other locations do you work?
Sydney wide, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, South Coast and Southern Highlands.

I have never had my modelling photos taken by a professional photographer before. Do you work with beginners?
We work with people at all levels of their career.
Can you provide me with images for online casting websites?
Along with high resolution images for printing we provide clients images specifically formatted for use with online casting services such as Dare2Audition, StarNow & AT2.
What clothing should I wear for my photo shoot?
Upon making a booking we will discuss in detail the clothes that will best suit the style of images or portfolio your are shooting.
How old do I have to be to shoot modeling photos?
We shoot models of all ages but reserve the right to only shoot images that are age appropriate. If you are under 18 we reserve the right to have a parent or guardian present during the shoot. A female staff member is present at the studio during all sessions.
No. We don't make you sign a Model Release Form
And nor should you need to when you are shooting images for your own portfolio. Modelshots does not sell images to anyone but directly to our clients. We also provide full usage rights for your self promotion. Ensure if you do sign any model release with a photographer that you understand what rights you are giving away.

Are you associated with any agencies?
We are an independant studio and have no direct affiliations with any particular agencies.
We are always happy to point our clients in the direction of those agencies that may best suit the models look or style.
Do you shoot weddings?
Due to existing commitments Modelshots does not shoot weddings.
I noticed a photo of a model I would like to test for a project. How can I contact them?
Please contact us with your inquiry. Your details will be passed on to the actor/model/entertainer. (Work inquiries only please)
