I want to become a model but I have no experience. Every successful model started in the industry with no experience. The secret is to learn to sell yourself and find the type of modeling that suits your look and body type. As a photographic studio we are experienced at working with both models and actors who are at the start of there career. Do I need to spend 1000's of dollars on photographs for my portfolio? No. A legitimate agency would not expect someone new to the industry to have a comprehensive portfolio. Once you have an agent they would work with you to expand your portfolio. They would however expect you to approach them initially with a portfolio that has a number of different looks to see how marketable you are. The more looks you can show them you are capable of, the more an agency can see that you would be an asset to them. My friend says I am too short to be a model. Successful models come in all shapes and sizes. There are lots of models with successful careers doing promotions and photoshoots who are under 5'8". I have no idea what photos I need. No problem. We will work with you to get the style of images required by an agency. How do I send my photos to an agency? Different agencies work different ways. For this reason we provide you your final images both in a printed and electronic form so they can be mailed or emailed or displayed in a portfolio folder. I have already started to put a portfolio together. Can you do photos to add to my existing portfolio? Of course. We will work with you to cover the different styles you will need to complete your portfolio.
